  • Set, monitor, and manage annual budgets
  • Drive occupancy and revenue growth
  • Oversee financial KPIs across the homes
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to the senior leadership team.

Leadership

  • Line management and support of Home Managers, Regional Manager and Regional Support Manager
  • Conduct regular service reviews and visits to ensure operational consistency and service excellence.
  • Support homes in achieving positive outcomes in care delivery, staffing, and resident experience.

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure services are fully compliant with CQC standards and other relevant legislation.
  • Monitor inspection readiness, internal audits, and service improvement plans.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop Home Managers and senior team members across the region.
  • Support performance management, staff engagement, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture focused on dignity, inclusivity, and staff well-being.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Warm, approachable, and brimming with positivity
  • Organised, reliable, and confident in leading a team
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and able to motivate others
  • Passionate about improving the lives of older people
  • Previous experience in a similar role

Desirable but not essential:

  • Registered Nurse (active PIN) or professional qualification in health or social care.
  • Experience in service turnaround or regulatory improvement.
  • Familiarity with care management software and digital reporting tools.

What We Offer

Working at St Mary’s Care Homes means being part of something special. You’ll enjoy:

  • A friendly, supportive, and welcoming workplace
  • Real opportunities for ongoing training and career progression
  • A chance to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives every day
  • A valued role within a close-knit team that cares as much about each other as we do our residents

If you believe that respect and compassion should be at the heart of care, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and help us make a real difference to the lives of residents at St Mary’s Care.
